INHABITING BLISS: BOOK REVIEW: [Philip Van Heusen for ‘Readers’ Favorite’]: “Kathleen’s artwork is both intriguing and relaxing. Allowing her art to enter deeply into your soul will enhance your life and encourage you to strive to be true to yourself. Her words are meant to align with the spirit leading to a life of bliss. Her verses are words of thankfulness and reality that encourage her readers to discover who they are. Along with the art, the words take the form of poetry and prose to create a smooth blend. This communication is aimed at uplifting the spirit of the reader. While pondering the mysteries of life, Kathleen captures their spirit and shares the results. This book is designed to elevate you and allow you to fly freely to wherever life takes you. Read this book to enjoy the art, to enjoy the words or both. You will be glad you did.”

Inhabiting Bliss is a delicious collection of compelling narratives and stunning imagery that satisfies our mortal craving for comfort and inspiration, particularly in the light of today’s complex and challenging times. It allows the reader to turn down the noise and immerse themselves into an imaginary landscape of words and pictures that dance across pages and weave morsels of self-reflection into a tapestry of inspiration, encouragement, and possibilities. ‘Inhabiting Bliss’ is thoughtfully composed and artfully crafted, connecting the wonders of nature, the blessings of the universe, and the power of the spirit through complex montages of flowers, animals, water, symbols, and powerful female figures.

BOOK INFO: Inhabiting Bliss, is a 40-page (+ Cover) collection of original narratives and imagery by artist and author, Kathleen Kinkopf. The 8”x10” format is printed on 80# coated stock (also available in a 12”x12” format and printed on 100# coated stock.) Both sizes are 40 pages, wrapped in a linen hardcover, and finished with a beautiful, full-color glossy dust jacket wrap. This high-quality art book is printed digitally and ‘on-demand’ (one-at-a-time) and would make a beautiful gift for someone or even yourself!

Inhabiting Bliss, Kathleen’s first book project, sprouted from a year-long professional and personal journey. The book format served as a natural launchpad for her most recent series of ambitious images and writings. This fresh series of work reflects her passion for nature and the human spirit, merged magically into a powerful anthology of imaginative narratives.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: “Over the years, my paintings have been described as ‘Magical Realism’. Although deeply rooted in the real world, the use of juxtaposition, symbolism, and mythology shapes stories that blur the lines between fantasy and reality. This new series presents a lighter palette than previous work and expresses fresh interpretations of nature. These harmonic assemblages combine my own traditionally painted artwork, vintage imagery, photos, and custom flat graphics. Recurring circles and the presence of the cosmos speak of humanity’s ongoing, cyclical quest for spiritual awakening and peaceful bliss. You can order a book from Amazon or through Kinkopf Studio directly. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more information. Thank you for visiting the site and enjoying my work!”

BEHIND THE SCENES: A Blissful Journey…the unglamorous work of fulfillment

I brought many skills to the table (so to speak) from my art directing experience and advertising promotion experience, although I had not done books specifically or in such quantity. New to the ‘business of shipping books’, I naturally over-ordered packing materials, used too much tape, underestimated expenses, and overpacked a bit, but my priority was to get these beauties safely to you!

The pictures below are highlights of the fulfillment process once I received your orders from the online shopping cart and before they arrived on your doorstep. There were a variety of order quantities, ranging from one, to two, to three, etc. books per box, and some unique orders of 10, 20, and 30 books! It was important to be organized, attentive to the quality of the wrapping and packing, and to get all the shipping labels printed correctly. Working around the Thanksgiving holiday and family visiting created some timing challenges, but all in all, it went very smoothly.
